A decade has passed since Cara Covington was blindsided by betrayal. Andrew Bailey never got to tell his side of the story. Andrew’s focus becomes split between rekindling his relationship with his first love and joining in the investigation of multiple incidences that are plaguing the small town of Cherokee, Georgia—his dad’s mysterious accident, a kidnapping and an attack on another civilian. When Andrew suspects human trafficking might be at play, he calls in the FBI to assist with the cases.

Cara gets mixed up in the trouble, and works hard to save herself, but also has hope that Andrew isn’t far behind and will come to the rescue.
